The Jansen family have recently relocated from Australia to LA and each one of them is struggling. Janus, the instigator of the move, is having issues turning his best-selling horror novel into a screenplay. Kay is frustrated with Janus and the way her life has played out. Teenage Casper hates LA and longs for home. And wannabe fashion designer and former party girl Liv, keen to turn over a new leaf in America, is sleepwalking.

After what should be a routine night out in LA, Liv wakes up covered in bruises, her memory of the last few hours wiped clean away. Her friend Leilani won’t respond to her texts and her parents won’t look her in the eye. And strangest of all, there’s a giant deadlock across her bedroom door.  

This is a layered and suspenseful thriller, brimming with lies, secrets and clever twists and turns – a slow burn to a very satisfying ending.
